96cr250 leaky countershaft seal?

It started leaking when I replaced the chain and sprocket. Ive looked at the seal and i havent yet come to a conclusion. On the shaft there is an outer seal(im guessing its a dust cover w/ an o-ring behind it) and a collar. Has anyone here done this seal on a 96cr250? was it hard?

I did one on my 02 cr it was really easy. Just poped the old one out with a screw driver and pushed the new one into place no leaks since. Didn't have to remove the collar. Not sure if yours will be the same but it may be similar.
