97 RM250 just fully rebuilt, ran 5 times in 1 day, now wont start

I just fully rebuilt my 97 RM250(new gaskets, rings, piston, and seals). Yesterday i rode the bike 5 times, i let cool again, but when it wouldnt start nthe next time i tried to crank it. I have fire, changed plug, stator is new, the carb sat for 6 months and i didnt clean it. Could it have developed a problem after riding? I used fresh fuel also. Any suggestions would be helpful.

ide check the carb because 6 months is allot of time for a carb to be sitting especially with the 2-stoke oil in the fuel. Ide put my money on it picking something up inside the carb and blocking a passageway. check to make sure its not just the fuel line and petcock before you rip your carb off. denatured alcohol, gasoline, and compressed air are going to be your best friend when cleaning the carb. turn on some music and do it to it lars
