A couple of KDX 250 questions

After messing around with jetting on my '92 KDX-250, it seems as if I now have clutch slippage. I know the two aren't related, but can the wrong jet size mimic a slipping clutch?

Also, what IS the recommended jetting for an otherwise stock bike with an FMF gold series fatty pipe?

There is no standard jetting suggestion since it has too many factors like Terrain, Altitude, Fuel Mix Ratio, etc.... I don't think you messing around with the jetting did anything to the clutch but it's a
92' so your clutch (if never replaced) is probably just going. Take apart your clutch cover and take a look at the plates to see if they are worn or not. Also (maybe it just happens to me but) the gaskets are usually torn or shot so get a set of those as well. If you get any kick starter slipping this would be the time to check that out since it's right next to the clutch. Improper jetting will cause the machine to run either too lean or too rich but won't do harm to the clutch. Take care of the clutch first then worry about that jetting. FMF has recommendation for jetting with their pipes but also state that you should run the bike with it's current jetting and adjust if necessary, so unless the bike was smoking(bad) or running like garbage just ride the thing and call it a day.
