Cleaned the carb this morning. Hooked it all back up.
I took off the plug off the bottom of the float bowl...
No gas is coming out. Shouldn't the float bowl fill up
with gas once the carb is all re-connected?

this may be obvious but is the petcock open?

yes, and I even tried it on reserve.
The plug on the bottom of the carb bowl is removed and no gas is coming out.
Gas comes out freely from the gas hose when it is disconnected from the carb, so the petcock is not clogged

The only two things that would keep gas from running straight out of the drain on the bottom of the carb when you have the 17mm drain off the bottom are the petcock and the float valve. It sounds like you have eliminated the petcock. Are you sure you put the floats back in right?

Either a blockage in the carb before the needle and seat, or improper float or needle installation. :whoa:

Thanks guys.
I found a diagram of the carb online.
The little loop wires at the top of the jet under the float lever were not around the float stem and the float was keeping this jet sealed (no gas allowed in) Anyways. She runs perfectly now. Thanks to all!
