Hey guys. I just took my air box to air boot apart on my 02 cr250 and it was fine.It had good
sealant from the factory but since i did have it apart i resealed it with silicone. I have had the
bike for about two months and when i first got it i checked the air filter to air box seal and it sucked.
Heres what i did to fix it. I first took my dremel tool and cut away the inside of the air filter cage
so that the cage would fit farther over the cross braces and the nut inside the air box. Then i
took a lighter to the very outside of the cross braces heated them up and bent them in until the cage
set flat against the air box. Problem fixed. Any other ideas?????.
