I'm looking to get a bike that will be solid all around in trail riding without feathering of the clutch, but also be able to handle jumping, but it won't be 80footers or anything. I was looking at the KDX200, any other suggestions? Thanks

A KDX is a great woods bike. But it's not designed for jumping. However, if you upgrade the suspension, it'll do just fine.

The KDX is a great woods bike but not much fun on a track. You might want to look into a KTM 200. They're pricey, but worth the extra expense if you are looking for woods and track time out of one bike. PM Stan_Flemmings for an opinion. He sold his KDX200 for the KTM.

How about a kdx vs an xr250 for jumping? I won't be doing serious jumping, just freeride jumps....are there any other good bikes out there with a solid "all around" performance?
