New member here. Hope this dosn't sound too stupid. I have a new '03 KDX200. Got it last summer and it had 0 miles on it. I have put 30 miles on it but when I hit the throtle in 1st gear it bogs a little. When I try to wind it up when I hit 2nd it bogs for 2-3 seconds and then clears up and gets it on. When I hit 3rd it's screamin and the all is left behind. Every thing is stock, I was running the recomended 32:1. My altitude is 5500 feet and temp is 85-100 degrees. This is my first bike and taking it easy on getting to know it. Is this normal for this bike. If not I would like to clear up the bog down in my lower gears. Where should I start? Spring is comming and the snow will be gone. I would like to get it ready for the trails.

you need to rejet. These bikes are jetted way rich even for sea level. At high altitude it's even worse. there are plenty of jetting entries in the forum, and good info on Canadian Daves site.
Good Luck,
Mike.
