Got my tech 6's for Christmas, (thnx honey) and was impressed with the fit and feel of them. They fit around my giganto calves and braces just fine, I can't get the tech 8's to fit. after three or fou rides they felt like I had very good feel for shifter and brakes, as well as good support. First race I felt much better after each moto, much better ankle/ foot support than my old AXO's. The real reason for this thread is the next race. a 2-day event. First day all good, secibd day, got tangled up with a guy on a 426 over a tabletop, high sided into the next corner and he plowed into me and ran over both feet at the ankles. The result one broken hand, (old bones are brittle in the cold ) and not one problem with mt feet or ankles. I don't know for sure the 6's saved me from worse injury but they sure impressed me, two thumbs up, (one in a cast)
