I dunno, they look cool, but a bonded sole? I wonder if that means they are non-replaceable? The required inner bootie is seriously hi-tech, with a pivoting mechanism.

They're probably like the Vector boot that has the replaceable peg insert on the sole. I'm not sure if the entire sole on the vector boot is replaceable or if it's just that one piece that's replaceable, but it looks like a simular sole design.

YAY! I found my new boots been waiting for gaerne's rider support program to get my order after months of waiting I cancelled my order. I was gonna just get some tech 8's but now they made it a tougher choice.

Didn't I read somewhere that these boots were high priced? In the $450 range...ouch if thats the case. I can't imagine forking over that kind of money for boots. I thought $285 for my Sidi's was alot.

$450 for a pair of boots is insane- we had a poll on my local board, a lot of these guys like the new bling bling gear, but less than 10% said they would buy them at that price.

Yeah, I've been known to spend cubic dollars on bling, but there's no way I'm dropping $450 on a pair of boots. Not unless I win the lottery.

$450 might be the list price. They will more than likely sell for $360 to $385 (if the $450 price is true).

If the boots ARE better than the -8's, I'd pay a few extra dollars. Then again, Aplinestar might discontinue the -8's to move us all upmatket.

I've checked all of the online mail order sites, and it seems as though no one is selling the Tech-10's yet.
