China IS appalled by this tragedy. My cousin currently lives in Shanghai, China and a few hours after this terrible event happened, he emailed me asking if everyone was alright and telling me what the public there thought of this event. The people there were shocked and horrified. The World Trade Center and the Pentagon is famous and well-known landmarks of this great country around the world. It is all over the state-controlled news in China as well. The Chinese President have spoken with President Bush and has expressed his condolence and his sadness of what had happened.
