I was at the third round on Saturday at Anaheim and witnessed what I thought was a horendous accident. At the start of the 125 LCQ many of the riders at the back of the pack on the first lap have to slow down because of the congestion, so on the triple many of the riders don't have the momentum so they just do a double. Problem is some of the other riders behind them go for a triple. Bobby Bonds did the double but a rider behind him landed on top of him and it looked terrible. Bonds laid on the track motionless. The medics put him on a back board and I never saw him move his arms or legs. I didn't read anything about him and I am just wondering if anybody has heard what happened.
