Another important tip - KTM

If you own or are working on KTM EXC'S this Zip Tie position like this was the cause of a hole in the fuel tank of a new 520EXC fist time fuel was put in the tank it came straight out!
4 bikes in the last shipment were the same ,only one was damaged with a hole.

With time they all would have eaten there way through the tank. this new bike was an obvious warranty if it happens later........$$$$$$$$

Looks like they have a left-handed tech doing some of the assembly work...

Person8: Works on my end. But, if you take the gas tank off, you'll see a zip tie going over the top frame. This has apparently ruptured a few tanks.

I tried the pic again and it worked. Next time I'm out puttering around in the garage I'll have to pull the tank off and have a look. Thanks for the tip.
