One night I was at my parents house eating dinner at the table. I saw some car lights go by in the direction towards the dead end road and really didn't think much of it. I continued on eating and conversing - suddenly realizing that the same car was now nearly at the FRONT DOOR - a good 75 feet off the road in the front yard. I instantly jumped out of my seat and flew out the front door chasing after the little honda civic. I was actually able to catch up to it (it had to slow down to stop or atleast yield since the road was now at a T and one way is a blind corner). Without thinking - Not able to see who or how many people in the car or what I was going to do if they got out - I started banging on the rear window, as it started to continue on I grabbed at the license plate and nearly ripped it off. That was some kind of adrenaline rush..... everyone else in the house really had no idea why I took off like a rocket out the door. I got a flashlight to see if they did any damage (lawn job) and nothing was harmed. It is pretty funny talking about it now, but nowdays you just never know what the other person(s) intentions are and what they are willing to do. That was probably a pretty stupid thing for me to do...... I guess we continually live and learn throughout life. :)
