I'm in nor cal and I would like to get into a riding group here, but I haven't seen any nor cal groups at all. Someone said the nor cal riders are lumped in with the so cal chapter.

binthedirtnow.

Welcome to the forum.

We have several members in No Cal but, only one forum for all of California. We'll let you post in here as long as you don't live in San Francisco or sumtin' like that. :yikes: ;) jk.

Actually, SFO and fe Princess live in SF and we have zio, Farmer john, dirt bike Dave, Getmetoca, placelast, Rickyd and several others in No Cal.

If you want to organize a ride, pick a spot and a time and post it here. You will be suprised who will come out of the woodwork.

We have a few rides where the North and the South come together at places like Kennedy Meadows and Gorman. Check out the Kennedy Meadows 4th of July thread.

I guess you could start your own chapter. You could be the Left Coasters or sumtin' like that. Or the Birkinstalk wearin' Posey Sniffin' Tree huggin',,,, Oh, never mind. :rotfl:

binthedirtnow, if you're new the NorCal you'll want to look in to riding at Holaster Hills. it's an awesome riding spot, and I have met up with quite a few DRN NorCal members up there

In SF

Hey all, thanx for replying.
Kav: yeah I've been to HH several times. I love it there!! But sadly, with huge gas prices lately I've been going to Metcalf mc park once a week instead. Metcalf is about 1.5 hours closer to me and I use way less gas to get there and back. It's actually a very fun little place to ride. I'm not much of an mx'er, but I love to ride faster trails and fireroads. Single track is not my favorite since I'm more comfortable carrying a little momentum. :aj:

RickyD: I was in the process of editing my profile, but haven't gotten arround to it yet. I live in SF, in the richmond district near GG park. I have a 2003 klx 300r and a 2002 kx 125. I'm not much of an mx'er, but I love to ride faster trails and fireroads. Single track is not my favorite since I'm more comfortable carrying a little momentum. :aj:

I hear you on HH being a haul. when I get to go there it's normaly a multiday afair for me. one more thing you could look into is BARF. it's a fourm for the Bay area, and sevral ov the membes on it are also on DRN.
