I took that picture this past July. I was on a ride to the east coast & kinda just going here & there when I stopped for gas & thought "this place seems familiar". When leaving the restroom I passed a bulletin board & started reading the local adds. In one corner of the board was a flyer for MX races. At that point I realized I was in Casey IL, so I had to ride over & check out the track. It was nice when I was there in 2001 but now it is very nice with multiple tracks.

I did stop by Coyle OK on the way home...

Great place to ride for sure. Glad to hear it's still alive and actually improving! Great memories made on that piece of land.

Unfortunately, a fate similar to Cooperland is more common than what's happening in Casey. :(

Yes,... the first 'fest',... 18yrs ago,...had a blast !

Looking back at it now, I'm not sure which DirtWeek location I liked the best ... I suppose the single biggest advantage Cooperland had was the size of the pits/camping area. I don't think LTM could have held us all.
