Anyone have a ramp they don't need?

Since I'll most likely be picking up a bike this weekend (fingers crossed), I'm going to need a ramp. Rather than going to a shop first, I thought I'd check on here to see if anyone local had one they don't need anymore, etc. Just let me know.

I plan on buying some tie-downs before this weekend, but I guess it couldn't hurt to ask if anyone has any of those either ;) The bike will be going in a Toyota Tacoma (small truck).

I may do that, but hell, I'm used to working w/lumber from Home Depot as a ramp. Since the truck is low, loading shouldn't be very difficult anyway. I just want something simple that will work.

I use two 2x8 boards that are 8' long. Push/idle the bike up the right one while you walk up the left one next to it. Cheap alternative to fancy, expensive aluminum ramps, and works perfect.

That's probably what I'll end up doing, especially considering the trip is just a few days away. There's a Home Depot less than a mile from my house :aj:

I'll probably go w/7' or so since the truck bed is fairly small.

I went to Home Depot and got a 2x12 for about 11 bux :)

The only problem I noticed was the tendency of the board to slide back when I was taking the bike off of the truck into my garage. This won't be a problem in dirt, grass, etc., but I may go to Ace or something and get some rubber stops so it will grip concrete better.
