I just got a stock pipe for my bike for $20.50US Ain't that just great? ha ha I also got a pair of Seth Enslow Shift pants lastyear for something like $25US. Man, without Ebay I would have spent alot of extra cash...
latley they've seemed a bit over priced? lost out on a pair of tech 8's they went for $205 seems way to high when you can buy them brand new for $265?
I've had great luck on Ebay, both selling and buying!
I got my first CTi2 knee brace there for $90.
I just got a matched set of CTi2's for $330. and have the option to return them if they don't fit. (according to measurements, they should)
I also have gotten some good deals on electronics (mp3 players, vacuum tube testers, DVD player, etc.)
My kids even use it.
I love EBay as well. Just got a '02 MSR Rage chest protector in clear color and size XL for $65 TOTAL. Most catalogs list it for $109 BEFORE shipping.:) :)
and sold every last part! Some parts went for more that I thought they would , and some less. All together, I got around 1200 for the KX ( less the frame and forks which were damaged and the reason I was parting it out.)
I have bought a few items too , with great success. The really popular stuff is the stuff that get inflated a bit. ( handlebars, mx pants, jerseys, etc. ) I love ebay, tho, best garage sale on the net.
I'm an ebay'er too. I've gotton lots of good deals off there for my bike, and i think i'll sell my CR on there when it's time, because bikes seem to go for a good buck$$$ on there:)
I have been buying and selling on eBay for a couple years now. You find sooo much stuff, (alot of it that I dont really need), you can fill your garage up quick. Its great for dumping other things too. I sold an old wood-burning stove for $250. It almost went out in the trash the week before! Now before I throw anything away, I have to ask myself if there any "eBay value" to it!
