LT. Acutally, #35 is the pole starting position for that class. The over 40 class (I think?) starts right in front of us, so, there will be 34 riders in the wave before they start us.
E-Ticket. You are SOOOO right about that first turn. I got my front wheel taken out there a few years ago and got up-close and personal with one of those big plastic road barriers.:scream:
Speedy. Do you know what class the good Dr. will be riding in and what number he will be?
I've had a difficult time finding any information on the Elsinore GP. This is one I'd like to ride, but advance planning is key with work/family. Unfortunately, Nov 11 won't work but I'd like to plan for next year. Have the dates for 2002 been set and is there a website/phone # available for sign-up and other information?
JP. Do you know what number you will be and your start time? I should be starting in the group right behind you? Won't be doing the unclassified race in the morning. The course changes A LOT between the unclassified race and our race.
Hey ol 89r and JPivey, I registered for the dual sport class that runs at 8:00am Sunday, which means I'll have to have my bike in impound at 6:00am, I am not planning on being up there on Saturday night. SO, you think I should change my class to 40+ and run my KTM 640 in that class ?? I am running the Novice Class, since I don't race much dirt. I have to go up there either Saturday, or Sunday morning to change my class, which means I'll be at the back of the pack of 50+ riders !!
Randy. Either class is a tough one. The impound times are not that strict. I usually take my bike to impound about 1/2 hour before my race. Your 640 should do well in either class.
I'm racing the 40+ novice class sunday (#21). Should be a blast as always.
I'm hearing there may even be a chance of showers. I doubt there would be much water, but you never know.... It'll keep the temperatures pleasant any way.
No, that wasn't me. I'm at work (my last day). I will be going up early Sunday morning to change my class to the 40+. I have a black/silver 640 with stock exhaust. I'll have a white helmet on, and one of those old red/white chest protectors.
