There's a new MX park in Easton, MD, (the eastern shore-towards Ocean City). I was curious if anyone has ridden there, if it gets really crazy, (they allow 4 wheelers on the tracks with bikes), or anything else you can tell me about it? If not I would be happy to meet some DRN'ers there to check the place out. :D

Not yet but I was thinking of going there in the next couple weeks. They have 5 or 6 different tracks, 4 wheelers on their own I think. Check out the site, they just put some new pictures up of the tracks, looks awesome! http://www.thelandingmx.com/index.htm
Let me know when you're thinking of going and anyone else.

I have ridden there. Only the Expert, advanced, beginner and pee wee track's are completed. I have ridden there 3 time's and plan on going Dec 1st. Very fun, worth the membership fee. ****'s aren't bad as long as you stay on the expert track. That's becuase there are none. The advanced track is the funnest track in my opinion but I really love the expert track for the whoops and jumps. Begineer track is fun too but not as challenging and is all hard pack. If you tap the rear brake your tire lock's and you leave a 15 foot skid on the clay. Too many little bikes and ****s for me. Pit's are nice but can't handle the volume of people. Water, bathrooms and food all good. Bathroom's are modest. enough of them to make me happy. But porto potties are not my thing. Watering system is nice. Cover's the whole track but it over water's the track in my opinion. I did three donut's and I was bieng cautious not to over do it so I just putted out in 2nd gear and it'd turn around on me. There are rut's that they don't groom all day and there is pleanty of sand. It's a wide variety of track's and soils. Pleanty of bike's to try out. One of everybike atleast, I saw four CRF's last time I went in a period of two hours.
It's worth the money! go for it!

BTW- The drive is not bad at all! easy and short. Gas station on your right before you go over the bridge and a texaco 2 miles away.

That expert track looks awesome. Are they planning on being open too much longer before it gets cold?

Glad to hear the place sounds alright. I shot them an email and asked if they were closing for the winter, they said plans are to stay open year round, unless it gets below 40 degrees then they will be closed that day. Let me know when you are heading out.

i'll be there this Saturday.I'm leaving annapolis at 8am so I can arrive early and will ride all day. Look for a 2001 CR125 with 857 on the plates. We have a Black Chevy s-10. I'm just a little guy when it comes to it.

I think I'm going to try and make it. Probably be in my white F250 with the KX, maybe around 10 or 11am.

Awesome place!!! And 75 degrees today! That was my first time on a real track. Adrenaline did you go? I was looking for a red s10 for some reason?:think

The advanced track is sweet, I was probably the slowest person there but didn't have any trouble keeping out of the way
;)
That expert track looks deadly, I rode around it a couple times and felt like I was falling off a mountain just rolling a couple of those jumps.
Can't wait for next time, hopefully we'll have nice weather next weekend too.

I would have a Black S-10 lol. yep I went. I looked around for you but didn't really know what to look for. I rode the begineer's track for an hour and then went to the intermediate and rode that an hour and then stayed on the expert for the rest of the day. I couldn't keep the pace on the expert track. Not many jumps I attempted lol. But hey it was fun. The intermediate track has a doube or two I won't go for. Something about them. Hope to see you there sometime soon. I crashed and bent my rad, clutch lever and shattered my throttle tube so I left at about 3:15 If I get a throttle tube I will be there this sat. Rad is fine ( now ) and my clutch lever actually feel's better bent

congrats on the purchase!!
I'll be there this sat. Look for a BLACK S-10 this time. I'll be looking for you. What does your KX look like? what mods?
I just added a pro grip, fmf, and two no fear stickers on the back of our truck window. BTW someone #120 on a CRF looked famous to me. I don't know who he was but he was quick and looked framiliar. Did you see him??
I got a new throttle tube and grips today!! yay! so I shall be there and hopefully I won't screw anything up this time. After this ride i'm putting a new topend, getting suspension set up and regreasing everything so I shall be out until january I suppose.
