Has anyone tried these AXO TMKP (total movement knee protection) knee/shin guards? I think they are fairly new to market. They are shown on inside back cover of July '02 Dirt Rider (or click link below). Price shown there is $50 for pair.

I use them. They are perfectly sized to my knee, and I never even notice them on my legs. They are by far the best purchase I have made in the MX world padding wise. The shin guard goes perfectly inside of my boot, and actually makes the boot feel better (more snug (not tight though), and the shin padding is more comfortable than the boot padding). I have yet to smash them into something hard, but I have him them very hard with a hammer with no pain. They are very very comforatble, and I will buy them again if I ever need to. I hope that they make elbow pads with the same engineering....I would buy them in a second.

No, I don't work for them, I just like to give credit where credit is due. If you can afford them and need a pair, these are a no brainer.

I'm buying a pair of these.. I've currently got the Fox version of these, which have very little knee cup coverage. After my last crash, I'm wishing I had bought some knee guards like these sooner, the Fox ones may have helped a bit but I still tore a huge patch of tissue off of my kneecap, almost down to the muscle.

Have any of you guys noticed this? When the legs are fully bent, it feels that there's a gap in the protection and padding. They feel fine banging them around, but once the legs are bent, there's just a thin layer of plastic protecting them. Anyone else have a problem with this? Is that what those round foam stickies are for?
