I noticed this last night when I used Chrome on my daughter's laptop.

Now, with Ellandoh's screen snapshots, I see 3 different possibilities.

"Active Topics" is also my usual search button

Exactly the same thing I have here..

I remember back when I went from IE to Firefox I had the same issue, however, I don't recall what caused it or how it was fixed.

If you view the source code with IE or Firefos it see's this:

<!-- Navbar added show topics -->

<!-- Active -->

<!-- Active End -->

<td id="navbar_activetopics" class="vbmenu_control">
<a href="">Active Topics</a>
<script type="text/javascript">
vbmenu_register("navbar_activetopics");
</script>
</td>

<!-- End Navbar added topics -->

In Chrome:
<!-- Navbar added show topics -->

<!-- End Navbar added topics -->

Chrome is ok, don't see any advantage over Firefox yet.

"Active topics" is gone, but "new posts" is there, and I like it a little better.

I found a cludgy work around..

I copied the link for the "Active Topics" and made a bookmark on my bookmarks bar, so I don't need the link on the page.

Not exactly a perfect fix, but it works.

I don't need Firefox at all now. In fact, I only open it now to use the web developer plugs it has. :)
