Anyone with Eric Gorr's big bore Rm-250 kit?

I am sending in the cylinder to have the big bore 265cc kit done on my 1990 rm-250 with the Mo-power porting. I was just wondering how yours is holding up, and if it was a considerable power increase that you noticed. How much of a jetting change did you have? Thanks for the help!

Was you cylinder ever sleeved ? I have a 94 that I bought used and it already had a sleeve installed. I would like to go back to Nikasil plating. Does anyone know if this is possible after sleeving ?

Big Peat,
A cylinder that is converted for a sleeve will have a larger diameter machined into the top to accomodate the flange of the sleeve. So to answer your question, no it can't be converted back to use with plating.

hi, i had my bike ported and olished by eric gorr and was supposed to have the 265 overbore but when i got it back it wasnt done except for the porting and a new sleeve was put in and after riding about 15 min the sleeve started turning in the cylinder.
