Asterisk Knee Braces

I heard about these knee braces (ASTERISK) that are supposed to be the best, but I was wondering if anybody here can give me some real live information....like if you actually have one and use it. I heard there is no comparrison between these braces and others...are they really worth what you pay for them? Are there any pros that use them?? I heard there designer used to be a pro rider...is this true?
