Athena race gas

Does anyone have any recommendations or good experiences with a particular kind of race gas ? I have the athena 144 in a 2005 yz . In the athena instructions it recommends 96 octane or higher and the compression is 14.8:1 . I think the c12 is a safe bet but wanted to see if any of you had others you like better .

I don't think compression is 14.8 to 1.

I have the same kit and run 93 pump gas, but not going to recomend to others... its at your own risk.
I had trouble with detonation once but that was due to loss of coolant/overheating I believe.

Also have a dyno chart there that I never saw. Kind of cool, my bike should be making more power then I thought.

Found some 100 octane pump gas I am going to try . Is there any advantage in performance with the c12 over this ? I don't mind spending the money if it is noticeable .

C12 will be far more consistent than anything coming out of the ground.I don't recommend buying any race fuel out of the ground.
