So we got a new bike for my boy, he's growing like a weed, and will make the change to a125 very soon, (he's racing a TTR 125 now)
I setting up the suspension, talking him through the how and whys of it, sag, freeplay on the rear shock, compression on the forks, shock.
Now the senior moment creeps in. I can do it after 30 years by feel, how it corners, but I can't remember how to tell the rebound side of it. I danced with the rear shock, you know kicking ovr a log deal, packing down, but it didn't fill his need for info, he really is into the suspension side,
Help, give me a crash course on the why's of rebound, what to feel on forks/shocks.
Tanks!!
An old guy who does it out of feel, but can't explain it.
