Hey ya'll.
Been reading here for a few weeks since I picked up my new(old)ride, an '82 CR480, and decided to join in to actively share/learn.
I'm primarily a 3-wheel devotee, having grown up in the good old days of the early-mid '80's racing on local tracks, but I'm not exactly new to dirt bikes having bought a new '86 RM250 and a new '93 WR500 in their respective days.
Over the last 6 years I've been bringing neglected 250Rs, Tecate's, Tri-Z's, 200x's, etc... back from the dead and giving them new life.
I came across this 480 real cheap, fell in love with it, and plan to restore/upgrade it over the next few months and ride the heck out of it.
