Bar positioning

So when you are lining up a renthal fat bar where are you lining up the little grid? Are you lining the numbers up with the middle of the bar mount or the top or bottom. This may seem like a stupid question, but I don't know if I am positioning my bars correctly or not.

As a general rule (a starting point)........squat down, view the bike from the side and line the bar's "rise" in the same plain with the rake of the forks. If they feel low when standing, move forward.......and adjust to sitting also, split the difference.........it's a personal taste thing. You will find a spot that feels "right."
