Barnwell Gilmer Tx

Can anyone give me directions to Barnwell riding area ? I know how to get to Gilmer . When I get there were do I go ? :yeehaw: Thanks

I've been there a couple of times (great place. I'd like to see us do a group ride there.) The first time I went down I-20, the second time I took highway 80. Highway 80 took me about 20 minutes less.

Take 155 north off of 80. When you hit the 'main' road going thru Gilmer, turn left. You go approx. 1 mile (more or less), then turn right on 155, going east (you're still in the middle of town when you turn on 155). Continue approx 5 miles on 155. Watch for a sign on the right at the top of a big hill that says "Barnwell Mountain Recreational Area".

Went to Barnwell today . Had fun. The trails went from roads
to some tight rocky trails . Had some big hills . Some hills that I couldn't make it up . Alot of the trails needed triming . They were alot different than Muenster trails . But had alot of fun . Also got to test a 450 ktm against my te 450 hsuky . I'll have a write up in the euro section . Also thanks to Seldon for directions . :yeehaw:

I like Muenster but it is nice to have a place closer that is a good place to ride.

Yea it is a fun place but I like Muenster better . Trails need to be trimed . But it is still a fun place . :yeehaw: and its is closer . :cool:
