Barstow MC Poker Run-Slash X-Dec. 6

I know that the SoCal wrecking crew is full of hard core, death defying racers ;) , but is anyone planning on attending this Poker Run?

Looks good if you want to ride with your kids (although the 30 mile loops seem a little long). If it's like the last poker run at Slash-X, you don't have to run both loops to get your cards (you just draw them from a deck near the sign-up table).

Well, my daugher and I went to the Poker run, and were fortunate enough to have the weather on our side. The loop had "A" and "B" splits, so you could take the easy trail or not so easy route. Taking the easy route was about 21 miles. The trails could have been a little more interesting in spots, but it wasn't too bad overall. Turn out was probably less that 100 riders (not big).

My daughter thought it was cool that she could ride her bike up to the Slash-X and park. ;)
