Hi All,

Just 2 quick questions about pulling wheelies.

First is how the heck do you guy's chnage gears with the front wheel up? Is there a technique or is it just practice? You don't use clutch im guessing?

Second is what do you find easier? Standing up or sitting while doing wheelies?

I have an XR250 by the way.

Thanks alot in advance
James

You're gonna need the clutch if you shift while riding the wheelie. It's pretty much practice to shift. Pull the clutch quickly, shift, let it out smoothly. I prefer standing up, but all my friends think I'm crazy.

I find sitting is alot easier for me. I can go from 1st to 5th sitting but when i stand up i can only do a few gears. I also find i'm more in control while sitting. Other riders might find standing is easier. Also remember to keep that foot by the back brake ;) . It's saved me more than once
