Hi, I am new to this forum and not an experienced rider or owner but I can use some expert help. I purchased my 15 year old son his second dirt bike - a practically new 2004 Honda 150. He is generally very careful but dumped the bike and while I did not see it happen I think he may have gone over the handlebars. He was a bit dazed but OK and after inspecting the bike we found the front forks did not line up. The clamps looked fine. We took off the front forks and one is clearly bent above the cast aluminum in the area under the boot. Question: What is the best way to get this fixed? Do I need to replace the whole unit or can it be straightened? It looks like some aftermarket replacement units can cost as much as the whole bike? Any comments are appreciated.
