I Hope this is the right forum for this question. I stand up a lot when I ride, including around most corners. I also ride pretty far forward while standing. The problem is that after awhile, my lower back starts to hurt and I'm wondering if I'm too far forward. I was thinking a taller set of handlebars, but wasn't sure what bend and was hoping for some suggestions. I just lowered the footpegs to help. I'm 5'11", and ride a Yz250f.

Tag's tallest bar is the CR double high. It's about 5mm taller than Renthal's tallest (Jimmy Button bend). I'm only 5'5" but like a taller bar. I run Tag's CR high bars.

Thanks nikki. I noticed the CR double hi and that seems like it might work. I'm just a little wary of spending money for something and then finding out it's not working. Any advice from Wardy or High Lord Gomer?

I have the Doug Henry bend pro tapers (on my XR4) I'm like you, I stand alot, way more than others I ride with. I rolled my bars forward, the Henrys have little sweep so my arms are out front comfortabley, I also rolled the throtle, clutch and break down as far as practicle so my wrists are'nt bent. I sit down for a second, or less, every once in awhile. works for me.

Watch the sweep on some of these high bars. The button bars are swept back a LOT. I am 6'3" and have just purchased the Carmichael bend bars. I am pretty happy with them. Even though he is short, these bars are taller than you think. The CRHi bars are higher but have more sweep. The additional sweep will pull your elbows in.

I just got the Pro Taper Pastrana bend. They have a tonne of height with only something like 55mm's of sweep. Check them out.

I found out the hard way on the Tag X5 Cr Hi. Way too much sweep and angle for my likes, this is on a Xr400. Yz bend X5's are just right for me, I'm 5-8.

Hey, that's going to leave a mark!

Sorry I missed this before, but I can only really help with grammatical questions, Wardy does better with the real riding questions.

Occasionally the pro from the Goon Riding forum steps in to help out, too.
