Anyone going to be at the races that weekend? YZMan and digger? We'll be up Saturday late afternoon/early evening. Phil has to work until at least 3 and then we have almost an hour and a half drive. Looks like there is a possiblilty of a women's pit bike race, if enough women are interested. I'll be on a borrowed XR50.
Anyway, we'll be racing on Sunday only. I'll be racing womens and Phil in non-current. We want to be free to watch all of the action in the afternoon. Couple of Michigan pros are supposed to be there that weekend, better be both days anyway! We want to see them tear that track up. We'll be there in a white Explorer with a white enclosed trailer or a black 3 rail trailer.
Hope to see at least a couple of you there. I know almost all of you guys will stick with playing in the woods :)

Digger and I will be there. Gonna be there Sat and Sun morning early. But the sucky part is I have to leave Sat afternoon. I have a wedding reception I have to go to Sat night. When is KS and NW gonna be there?? is it Sat or Sun? If they are gonna be there Saturday I may hang out for a little bit but I have to be home by 4:00pm.

On the 21st they just said they would be there that weekend, no day specified. I was hoping for both. We can't be there to set up our tenting paradise until probably close to 6. Maybe I'll e-mail them and find out.

Sounds like fun. I think my kid wants to race Gratten that weekend. He's got a friend that races pro (Mitch) that practices at Big Air. Maybe I can talk him into a race at Big Air.

Unless it is raining, we will be there. I might try 250C on Saturday (CRF450 #721). The kid will race 50 trail both days (PW50 708). We will have the 27ft Sunnybrook camper set up. I thought he said that NW and KS were going to be there for the big money moto on Sunday.

Hmm...that would make more sense. I wasn't listening until I heard him say something about two Michigan pros going to be there the next race weekend."

Guess we will definitely race in the morning. You won't get killed in 250C. I made it through 2 125C races now without getting killed! I didn't place well, but I had fun and that's all that matters.

Come up Sat and camp out then it'll be worth the trip. We've never camped there before. I'm sure it's a lot quieter than RREEDDD BBBUUDD.

Zuki,Yzman, I have a plan. Yzman and Digger can camp out Friday night in the popup. Zuki and his wife can come up Saturday. Zuki can race 250C with me on Saturday and camp in the popup Saturday night. How's that. Don't wory about the track, Wolf said the jumps at Big Air were like a pee wee track compared to your track in Battlecreek.

I wont be there Sat night. I have a wedding reception to go to. So I have to bail after the mornging races Saturday. No I aint camping. I am just gonna be getting up early Sat and Sun to get to the track on time. Id like to camp. Just aint gonna work out for me. Im gonna miss the pig roast Sat night too. Bummer!

Yeah don't worry about the jumps at all. They have all been tamed WAY down. I can do almost all of them. The only ones I haven't done is Killer (don't plan to) and barn double (attempting next race) oh and Captain Kirk, I do the step-up, but tripling up is Captain Kirk. Oh and I don't do finish line...yet :) You can come short on stuff and not kill yourself now, and there aren't anymore SX style peaked jumps.

Its not about having acess for me. Its about being to cheep to pay for it. I can find better things to do with $45 a month. Like an extra tank of gas for the truck. $9.95 for dialup sounds much better to me given the current ecomomy.

We only have the SBC DSL which is $26. I already had it before they started the current promotion. We like to listen to SX and MX live and the dial-up was not cutting it at all.

hmmm say what is it going to cost me to race sat with slow joe in the "C" class or should we enter the D class and take first and second place hehe. other than gas ofcourse what would it be for me and the miss's for the day, and night maybe, we have a tent so thats all good, we will just have to make tracks in the morning to get home to let the furr kids out before they decide to drop a land mine some where in the house.

so what will it be to
race 1 c class race,and camp, gate fees every thing ill need for that day. ohh also do i have to have a current ama membership card and such, is there a track card or any crazy thing i need to get a membership with big air to race stuff like that

Zuki, gate fee is $8 each per day. So if you were there Saturday, you will have to shell out $32 for you and the misses to get in. If you leave Saturday, you will get your $16 for Sunday back. Camping is free with your gate fee. It is $25 to race. There is going to be a free pig roast Saturdaynight. Nick Wey and Kelly Smith are suposed to be there Sunday for a big money moto.

Good question. I don't think it's AMA. I checked their web, www.bigairmotox.com, and could not find race info. To practice you might have to be a member, like other tracks you can probably sign up day of the race. If it's like an AMA race it'll end up costing about 30 or 40 bucks after membership and entry fees are paid. Not sure.

No extra fees involved, no more AMA since the Powers took over the track. I'm looking forward to free food :nod:

Godzuki, depends...supposedly D class isn't supposed to jump stuff...supposedly. C class most of the riders should be in B. Depends on which class you would rather be in, sandbaggers who should be in C or Sandbaggers that should be in B :)

I kinda like watching the D class on the big step-up in the back :yikes:

I was thinking of sandbagging the hell outta the D class at the last race of the season. They say no doubles. How about the tripples. Im thinking of racing the last race and jumping everything I can. What are they gonna do take my points away?? I dont have any. Could be good for a few laughs. Not that I will finish all that well even if I do all the jumps.

well things today now look very grim, this happend shortly after i walk out to the mail box, yep if you guess a whopper of unexspected bill you guessed right. damn the bad luck. so i can pretty much take the hopes of this race, set them on a clay pigion thrower, and wait for somebody to yell PULL.

so there is a slim to none chance ill beable to attend this race, and slim's not in town today.

well i hope you all have fun, ill exspect pic's from it though id like to see some that mimmic, curt at drummon, near the camp fire. hehe

There is always the OCT 1,2nd race weekend. That is the last one of the year. If nothing else I would like to get some folk out there in October for a track practice day. Bring the kids. Grill out. Make a day of it. itll be fun. Something to think about.
