You do know that the track closes after the last race date. So Oct 2 is the last day.

Yeah..stupid township rules, stupid neighbors who don't like people to have fun and don't like a little dust (probably a lot, but whatever)

Godzuki, just do what I do to save some money. Ride bike to work and eat at home for lunch. If you don't live close to work...well your on your own :)

Anybody know what happened to Kelly Smith and Nick Wey out at Glen Hellen? I seen in the resaults that Wey got 39th so I am thinking he DNF'd. I didn't see Kelly Smith's name even in the qualifiers. I'm wondering if they will so up this weekend?

Well, I found out what happened to Wey

I don’t think anyone had a more frustrating day than Michigan’s Nick Wey. After his bike quit several times on moto one’s sight lap, he was forced to head back to the pits -- things couldn’t be corrected in time for moto two. To say NYK was frustrated would probably be an understatement. It’s not my place to judge the team mechanics, but this shouldn’t be happening.

So who is in for sure?

We'll be arriving late Saturday afternoon and camping out. Phil and I are for sure racing in the morning. I'll be racing women's and he'll be in non-current. Another couple we know from around here is going to try to make it too.

Who else will be coming?

I'm looking forward to finally being able to meet some of you.

YAY and I'll for sure be on my own bike!! My dad got my CR back together tonight. I get to ride it tomorrow, gotta break that top end in before Sunday :)

Green Ford Ranger extended cab. Kid is #30 on TTR90. My bike and trailer wont be there this weekend. Ill probably be heading out around 1:00-2:00pm

So how did it go?

Well I got 2nd out of 2of us. The other girl was on an 85, so they put us with 85 9-13 BEGINNER. :bang: I don't like ride with smaller bikes, especially beginners. They don't know how to hold their line. I could not get around those kids for nothing. Can't hold their lines on jumps. I came close to landing on a couple of them when I was doubling the 110'.

I did the Women's Pit bike race. I had a lot of fun doing that. I borrowed my brother's XR50. That's his play bike for when he's not on his 125. I took 3rd in that. I was beat by a lady on a XR70 and some other high tech pit bike. Actually the most fun I have had racing. I was the only one doing the little double on little air. I didn't realize it was a double until I was a bike length from it. So I went for it anyway. I found out that when you are 5'3" (or taller) and only have tall seat foam and standard height handlebars jumping is a little odd on a 50.

We met Slow Joe. Didn't really get a chance to see how his son did in his race.

Digger got a 6th and 7th overall for the weekend. He got a 3rd Sunday in the 1st moto but crashed in the end and finished near the back.

I was there watching that womens pit race. I probably saw you out there just didn't know it.

That lady that won on the Xr70. That is her daughters bike. Her daughter is dominating my kids class on that little 70. All I gotta say is that XT70 in not a 70cc bike. It has plenty of power to spare out there. I think it is a 88cc kit w/ cam, carb and pod filter. Plus a reworked exhaust. It moves very well. She was doing the double also.

I seen you miss a lot of shifts on that XR50. I think you needed more practice on it. That lady on the 70 was way out in front. My kid took 15th out of 19 on Sunday. He finally showed some speed in his second moto on Sunday. He is 4 and that class goes from 4-8, so he is still learning. I seen 1 of your motos as we were return from the little track. You looked like Dorthy in munchkin land with all those 85.

So there was someone else jumping the double. I was told no one else was. Yeah I missed a lot of shifts. I haven't ridden that bike since I moved out of mom and dad's house last July. I still had fun though.

Yep she was doing the double. I think that pit bike in front of you was hitting it on and off also. There was far more that wern't doing it than there was people doing it.

That's cool then. I couldn't believe that I was the only one. My parents usually only watch me and don't watch the rest of the race. I was kinda surpised at the turnout for that race. That was cool so many women signed up for it.

I take it you ended up not racing 250C?

No I couldn't race Saturday. Had stuff to do in the afternoon. I almost brought the bike out Sunday but I wasn't feeling too good this weekend so I decided to just lay low. Hope to race the last weekend though.

How did you like the big cash race SUnday afternoon. MAn that #79 on the KXF250 is smoking fast out there. Made the rest of them look silly. He even crashed and fought his way back into the lead.
