Any suggestions for big bore head gasket construction.Need 1.5mm or 60 thou thick. Intend to make one out of aluminium sheet (aluminum same thing) and seal it with GM head gasket sealer. It's to suit '91 KDX250 with 72mm bore.
Jobs done, annealed the aluminium gasket after cutting out, brushed on the GM sealer ran it to operating temp, overnight cooldown. 60 mile ride, first time the radiators stayed full in 12 months.
