big bore help

Hi guys, i have heard all this talk about boring out 2 strokes. I was goin to get a sleeve put in my 97 yz250 and wondered if i can bore it out. Would boring it make it more easier to ride and give it a better bottom. I ride trails so i want it to be more user friendly.

send your cylinder to USChrome and have them set you up. They will bore, plate, modifiy the exhaust valve and sell you the correct piston.

Yep Eric does great work for a very reasonable price and he has a special relationship with U.S. Chrome.

Have you thought about a pipe and low-end porting? A FMF Gnarley or PC Platinum 2 would increase the bottom end power and porting would also increase the bottom end power quite a bit.
