Well. Once agian i am having problems with my bike. Its a 2000 Kawasaki KE 100. YES! i am saving up for a new bike, so dont tell me its crappy and just dump it. Its all i have till i get my new bike and its better than nothing. But it has recientually lost ALOT of power. Since ....well about 2 mounths ago when it was running GREAT! But since then I MIGHT have at the most gained like maby almost a pound, so i dont think that is a problem. And i just replaced the sparkplug and cleaned the airfiler, and it runs just a wee bet better. Nothing to brag about though. I am thinking it is a tune thing because it has a cloud of smoke chasing me when im winding it out (lol). i dont think it is that good though. But there isnt any "liquid" coming out of the exhaust pipe. But i tried leaning it out and it doesnt do anything, so i ut ti back to where it was just incase i did somthing bad by doing that. It will start in like the firt 3 kicks, even if its been sitting for awile. I dont really know, im kinda stumped.

Anyway, doesn anyone maby, just maby know what the factories settings for the carb is? or what teh problme could be. I dont really want to thing its the piston and rings. But its been almost 2 years since they have been replaced. Well... If there is any further needed information needed to halp solve the case please ask. I will answer anything that i can.

Thanks alot!

sounds like compression
you may have to just put some new rings in it
or you may need new piston / rings?

bike should start on 1st or 2nd kick with right starting method i think
get a compression tester and see how much it got.
when your testing for compression leave the throttle wide open while doing the test for an accurate result
