I know there are a bunch of Munster hounds here, but I just wanted to pass on an FYI ...

There were only 18 motorcycles at BMRA this weekend.

As some of you know I am on the TMTC board and I get a report every Monday about activity on the mountain.

I have been there before riding and it is different from the other places around here. There are some good clean hills to ride without sharp rocks (well just not as many rocks). That is an over night trip for most of us. I am trying to convince my daughter and friends with the quads that they need to check it out. That would give me a reason to go.

Tony,

Have you started riding again yet? If so, just let me know anytime you go. I'd down for some trail riding since I've been on the MX tracks a lot lately.

Caleb:

I just saw this post ... Yea I am riding again, but only my DS at the moment. I guess by now you heard that I lost your Dad for a while in Big Bend ... now that was a hoot!

My 200 is closer to your house than mine as a friend borrowed it after I broke my shoulder. That was in August and I haven't had time to go get it.

Maybe after the Mexico ride in January.

I love Barnwell. Good single-track, good variety of slow or fast riding. All kinds of great hill-climbs. Nice variations in terrain. For those of us on the east side of the Metroplex, it's just slightly farther than Muenster. With marked trails, it's also a great place to take less experienced riders. It's easier than Muenster to avoid a killer trail before it's too late to turn around.
