Well after alot of messing with the carb trying to get the bike to idle i determined it to be that the threads for the idle screw on the carb body itself are messed up and the screw cannot go all the way in. So for now I'll live with out it idling. But to the problem I have now. The bike, 82 YZ100, runs fairly well but under any load it bogs out and dies :bang:. What could be the cause of this, I'm guessing the carb needs a complete rebuild but with the threads being messed up Im thinking of going the rout of a brand new carb :uh:. Whats your guys thought and opinions on this situation? I just want to ride, I haven't all season and there isn't alot of time left! :debil:
