Thanks much for all your insight on the MX vs. Trials boots.
By chance Tech 8`s (that were worn once before the accident) are what I have.
Based on your replies it sounds like Trials boots are the way to go.
Now, which ones ? Alpine Stars, Garene or Hebo`s ??
Isnt much information (at least that I`ve been able to find) on advantages of one over the other.
What are you folks using ?? Kind of hard to just go up to the local shop when most of them do`nt even know what Trials is much less anything about the different brands of boots.
AND maybe a recomendation as to where to buy.
Thanks to all.

I have Sidi Discovery boots which I highly recommend. They have a waterproof liner which is far better than relying on boot polish to keep the water out. I got mine about 3 years and haven't had any trouble with them at all.

I have Gaerne Lampkin boots I picked up for a good price from MX South. They have proven very comfortable and well built, I think knowing what your foot is shaped like might help as some boots are more comfortable than others for people with Fred Flintstone feet while others are better for Cinderella feet.

Thanks for all the input. After researching the post`s and the internet I am leaning towards the SIDI Discovery boots. Though the AXO`s are a runner too. The waterproof liners (featured on both) seem a much better way of keeping the feet dry.
Thanks again.

nothin wrong with any of them. I have the gearnes because a) pretty cheap, b) to support Ryan Young. He is the Gearne importer to the US.
