I hope Bradshaw keeps going this time. Just out of curiosity, how old is bradshaw now and what did he do for a living when he wasn't riding?

National?!?!?!?!

Let's hope the good times roll for Bradshaw and that AX will motivate him to compete in a national or two in 2002.

Bradshaw looked like greased lightning in FW Sat night. Demuth was riding great too but Damon was flying, it was hard for my eyes to follow him around the track and that's no exaggeration. Very intense racing.

He is 29

He made money racing SX/MX at least up to 97

1989 AMA Rookie of the Year
AMA 125 East Supercross Champion
2nd AMA 125MX

1990 8th AMA 250 Supercross
4th AMA 250 MX

1991 2nd AMA 250 Supercross
3rd AMA 250 MX

1992 2nd AMA 250 Supercross
4th AMA 250 MX

1993 4th AMA 250 Supercross
9th AMA 250MX

1996 7th AMA 250 Supercross
8th AMA 250 MX

1997 8th AMA 250 Supercross
10th AMA 250 MX

I know in 2000 he rode some Supermotard. Not sure what he did from 97 to 2000. I imagine if he invested his money wisely from racing he proabably didn't have to do anything for a living if he didn't want to.

In the new RacerX they have a short interview on Bradshaw. He says he has enough money to live on for the rest of his life.

Damon has looked great in AX this year. The only problem he had was the very first race of the season and since then hes been on fire. I'd love to see Damon get the AX championship, he has definitely had quite the career and he looks to be enjoying himself as well. And hey hes an adopted Idaho boy so I gotta support him.

Damon was on a minute about 8 behind mine a few years ago at the Idaho City National. Of course we quickly went by me in each section. I tried the 'ol "I'll see if I can keep him in sight", yea right. I did see him long enough to be amazed by his skills, and this was in the woods.

Go Damon, I hope he wins the AX series.

Well last night Bradshaw didnt do so well, he finished 3rd in both mains, with Josh Demuth winning both of the races. Bradshaw looked fast but couldnt really get a start in the 125s, with Demuth riding one of those cheater bikes;) it wasn't to be. In the 250s Bradshaw had to start from the second row after having to qualify through the LCQ, he was taken out by Rusty Holland in the first heat. Overall a good show but i could do without all the show and music and just have racing but thats just me

Interesting topic you brought up

The show & music that is.

Why on't they just pop off a couple of fireworks, introduce the riders and sing the anthem. Too much other BS going on making the races last forever. In FW there was about an hour pre race ceremony. It would have been okay with me if they introduced all the guests that attended but I don't feel the people were all that intrested in a 5 to 10 minute interview with each one of them.

Jeff thanks for the comments on the show, i thought maybe i was just getting old or something. I guess its called mass marketing 101 but im very sick of all the hype surrounding these things, its the same way at Pontiac but maybe not quite so bad. One of the first things that came to my mind when was setting there were boy i sure miss Red Bud, just pure racing.

For example last night they had the intro you talked about , plus Miss Arenacross, plus the Dash for Cash where they hit me up for more money after i paid $18 to get in, plus a lame jump contest , and not to mention the 65cc races which i think are cute but do they have to have LCQ's and interviews with the top 3 for the mini races?

Oh well i guess im turning into my dad

The thing I noticed about Bradshaw is he looked totally out of place on an AX track. He was hitting the triples with EASE! He was so fast compaired to the others, even some of the AX veterans. Josh Demoth was his only real competition. He did have some problems with slower traffic, and then there was the Rusty Holland block pass / take out! :p

But that's AX, do unto others before they do unto you...

Update:
At the Baltimore round 1/19 & 1/20, Bradshaw went 6/1/2/1 in the four points paying races, while Demuth went 1/3/6/2.

Damon has narrowed the Josh's season lead to 7 points, 531 vs. Demuth's 538.
