The bike is a 1998 YZ 125. I have a Akebono brake lever. I believe it is. It says Akebono on the brake cylinder. Mine has broke, half of the lever is gone, so I need to replace it. How much will this cost? Do I need to buy a Akebono, or could I buy from companies such as Sunstar...etc...If you could help me out, I'd really appreciate it.
-Thank you

Not too sure. I would guess that if the master cylinder is the one that came stock on your bike, then the application chart should work.

A lot of companies probably make brake levers for that new a bike. You better just ask or if you go to a dealer, take the remains of the lever with you.

It's not rocket science. If it fits, it fits.

It doesn't have to be an Akebono lever, but it does have to fit that over-built Akebono master cylinder. You can get compatible levers through most any after-market parts company.
