Brake pad question

Is there any type and/or brand of brake pads y'all recommend to improve the stock performance?

I've tried most brands and don't find a lot of difference. I'm currently running Tusk brake pads (made by EBC for rockymountainmc.com) and have had good results. The weak link for the KDX brakes is the old school design. If you want to boost their efficiency, you might try steel braided brake lines and a good quality DOT 4 brake fluid. These mods help but won't put the KDX in the league of a more modern MX bike. :nod:

I already switched to DOT 4 synthetic fluid, but not the ss lines. In my experience, the stainless steel lines are over-rated.
