Brake Pads?

What material is best for brake pads used in offroad situation? I have seen both metallic and semi metallic...pros/cons? Are there other options? Of course I battle mud half the year here in Texas. No matter what stopping is the MOST important. Any facts and/or opinions are welcome! :clue:

I have heard that the VERY BEST braking/breaking is achieved by running your 2-smoke without mixing any oil with the gas... ;)

I use the new EBC MXS sintered metal pads. Work great!
