Brakes on 05 KX 250

I am currently riding an '02 kx250 and haven't had any problems with it other than the brakes. I was considering buying an 05 YZ 250 mainly b/c i found the brakes to be far superior. However I'd like to stay with KX and have heard lots of good things about the 05. Does anyone know if they've addressed the brakes on the 05?

I'm a Honda rider and had a blast on a '05 KX250. The brakes are excellent. I've also ridden the 05 YZ250 and felt the front brake was not as good. You will love the KX!

IMO the KX brakes are the best in class- ive ridden Suzuki, honda and kawi this year. My older YZs brakes were crap.

I've only ridden mine enough to break it in but so far the front brake seems excellent, rear feels like the pads are contaminated or something as there doesn't seem to be much there. No one else has mentioned anything about lack of rear brakes so there's probably something wrong with mine.

The kx brakes are super strong -the pads or disks must have been contaminated.

Maybe you have air in the line?
