Yeah, he picked up 11 points on Langston--should be only 5 difference now.

Brown's going to get out of this season off the podium, and after all that work--nada.

Excellent first 250 moto thus far.

I think you said that before, ricky.

250 main bikes:

Red: 16
Blue: 15
Yellow: 6
Orange: 2
Green: 1

Thumpers: 14
2 strokes: 26

125 main bikes:

Red: 5
Blue: 14
Yellow: 12
Orange: 5
Green: 4

Thumpers: 5
2 strokes: 35

The spread in the 250's is shocking. Yogi's the only one riding green. Both of the KTM's were no shows. I also thought there'd be more thumpers in the 125 class, since the 250F wins the shootouts every year. What's up with that? The YZ125 is far more popular in the main event than the F? Huh? I also thought there were more 125 KTM's there, but they're just all runnin' up front. Suzuki and Yamaha have FAR more 125 satellite teams.

It's all common knowledge, but sometimes fun to look at the broken down data all at once.

Now if RC puts the title out of reach before the last race what I would love to see is RC race the 125 class on the new Honda 250f and Bubba on the new Kawazuki 250f. What a great way to introduce 2 new bikes. A battle of the Florida wrecking crew.

i went to a local series race last nite where they had 300% payback to pros. there were no thumpers and no kawasakis in either pro class.

That was a great race! That whole incident with Bubba and Langston was pretty lame. Langston was whining that Bubba T boned him on the first lap but at the press conference Bubba was asked about it. He said that he didn't think he even hit him and when he reviewed the tape he said he barely nicked him as he passed. His his reaction to Langston's whining comment was, "I thought I was racing against a 3 time world champion. I guess I wasn't." He got applause from everyone there.

The thing is, Bubba would have walked by him anyway. He had a 1/2 lap lead on the rest of the pack by the end of the race. I'm glad Hughes is eating away at Langston's lead in the points

I bet if Grant had hit Bubba there would be all kinds of whining from the Bubba camp....and the people in here

We may find out next week. I wouldn't be surprised if Langston tried to do that but he may have to wait until Bubba laps him to get close enough.

From what I have seen, Stewart is pretty level headed and takes responsibility for his actions and make no excuses. His camp may feel different though.

I don't understand why everybody is down on Langston...what has the guy done to deserve it? He has been the model of perseverance and if he wins it he will have earned it no doubt. Don't give me the Bobby Bonds thing, Bobby started it, Grant finished it. He's just a kid as well.

Any people question Stewart's consistancy?

...when I think of it, I think of BUTTAAAHHH! (butter). He's the only guy out there that can go out and quad first time out without hurting himself.

I like Langston, and think he IS model citizen of motocross. He's eloquent, intelligent, doesn't do or say stupid things...obviously a hard worker. However, he and Hughes are running themselves into the dirt trying to stay at Bubba's pace. They're not gonna last much longer, physically, at this rate.

The frontrunners in the 250 class rarely hurt themselves--RC, Windham (yeah, I said rarely--his last real injury was Atlanta) & certainly CR. I guess Lusk may not be so dumb afterall--he's got his health now, whereas before, he didn't. He's probably thinking of his son--and may be under direct orders from his wife to slow down. :scream:

Looks like the 125 conclusion is going to be another dramatic, injury-plagued conclusion. These guys are gonna hurt when they're old.

I'll give you the Sean Hamblin incident then where he admitted to purposely taking Hamblin out at the World Cup.

Langston is a nice guy in person but on the track he is a dirty rider IMO and while he puts a lot into his riding he can't take it the same as he dishes it out.
