buying son a bike

I'm planning on buying my 7 year old son a bike this summer but I don't know much about the tiny bikes. He has a honda atc 70 3 wheeler that he loves but it just don't have the power he needs and wants. I want to find a used good quality bike with a good price. Any sugestions about what make or model I should buy?
