look it over real good and see if any thing is worn or abused. See if the wheels run true, handlebars are strait, brake pads and rotors in decent shape.
"Make sure it runs?" make sure it runs good, idles smooth, acelerates hard.
Call your dealer and ask if the year-make-model is overall a good choice, or its a bad one to buy.
