here and I thought Buick would be the one on the chopping block. weird.
I guess this'll make my ol' man's "Chief Pontiac" head he got out of the old dealer's lot worth a little bit more . . . maybe.

I'm with Pred. GM sold a heck of a lot more Pontiacs than Buicks.

I just finished my rounds with the autoshow as a product specialist for gmc truck division. Man was that rough.
Ya know....this isnt neccesarily a bad thing. Gm will come out a meaner leaner company with more focus on the models they produce.
Buick is a good brand. They are down to only 3 models. They will go nowhere because 60% of thier sales are in china, theyre a hit over there, thats why they will stick around.
Id like to see pontiac not go away but condense to just the solstice(side note the gxp makes i think 270hp stock!) and the g8. Thoes are more niche models but I think great product none the less. Thats what the talk was anyhow......just talk though.
The bad i see in all of this. Our socialist government has there hand so far up gms azz its sickening. Last time I checked we didnt vote in the communist party but looks like they snuck in the back door.
Only time will tell if all the obama praisers were right. So far all I see is him taking this nation by storm while people too busy praising him rather than realizing hes sticking it to this country.
Iknow i know.....its all cleanup after the bush mess.....but i dont think they way hes cleaning it up is right. Let companies go bankrupt. We wouldve all been better being out of jobs in the short term rather than only being able to work for uncle sam in the long run.
That enough of my rant.....opinions are like azzholes.....everyones got em and they usually stink!
