If you live near Metcalf (or ride there) and would like to see the park expanded, now is your chance to help. United Technologies is moving out of California and 2500 acres of land will be available. Write to United Technologies and ask that they gift/set aside (what ever) some of the land for OHV use. Write to the Calif OHV Board and ask them to pursue using our OHV fees to aquire some of the land. Write to the Santa Clara County supervisors and park managers and ask them to expand the park. Talk to anyone in your network that can influence this aquisition, like Blue Ribbon Coalition, District 36, Riding clubs, race organizers.
If we don't get the land now and someone like a housing developer or the Keep People Away From Nature groups purchase it then we are also likely to lose the current facility.
There is a petition at the park to expand the area and we need people to sign it. If you haven't and ride there please stop by the office and sign it.
